There was so much space we couldn’t use it all, and the views across the Tyrolian Alps seemed to go on forever. The owners went out of their way to share tips for local restaurants and sights. It was a relaxing place for the kids to play while we grilled brats and enjoyed local beers. There’s even an on-site store selling distinctive local food and crafts. Such a pleasure to stay here.

The farm setting was wonderfully quiet and secluded, with no through traffic, so the children could play outside without worrying about cars. It felt like a real farm, and the host family was incredibly kind. The kids loved visiting the rabbits in the cowshed on their own, and the tractor ride was the absolute highlight. There were also cribs, high chairs, and even bed rails available. We’d brought our own bed rails for free, so you can save the room in the car. Having basics like toilet paper, soap, and laundry detergent already there was a big relief, and the dining area was spacious enough for the whole family. The remote location does mean driving down into the valley to shop. The bedrooms have curtains instead of blinds, but we still got our child down for a nap. There isn’t a proper stair gate, though we came up with a workaround. The old spring mattresses in the bunk beds could do with an upgrade, and a comfortable sofa to retreat to would make it even better. All in all, it was a fantastic, authentic holiday. 4 out of 5 stars!

We had a wonderful holiday, with hiking trails starting right at the farm. The apartment was spacious, and the separate toilets and washrooms meant there was no queueing. The children could visit the rabbit hutch and feed the rabbits whenever they liked, and there was a great range of ride-on toys for them too.

Oberhaslachhof is a charming farm, and the spacious apartment was clearly put together with care and love to make it warm and comfortable. We had a fantastic stay. It sits higher up, reached by a somewhat steep road. The climb is manageable, but in winter drive up from the village side. The paved road has small stones for extra grip and is safe.

Our group has been staying here for years, and we keep recommending it. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the apartments are roomy and well-equipped, even for a longer visit. A farm shop has recently opened with a wide range of high-quality regional products. It’s peaceful and somewhat secluded, but still easy to reach, with plenty of hiking and other activities nearby.
