The hotel is in a handy spot, about an eight-minute walk from the main town. The rooms were a little small, but that's on us since we have a baby, and he slept with us without any problem. We spent time playing with him in the main hallway and dining room, and the staff joined in too.

I'm glad we only stayed one night. I expected more from Caravella with its “boutique hotel” label, but there was nobody on site. Everything had been arranged through WhatsApp beforehand, and when I called about using the electric car charger, no one could tell me how. There was no staff interaction at all, even in the morning. The room felt claustrophobic and smelled of mold. Then I woke up in the middle of the night with ants in the bed. This didn't feel like a boutique hotel experience, more like an unattended rental. I wouldn't recommend it, and I'm glad we didn't stay longer.

Just the right amount of space in the cute little room, and it was nicely decorated and extremely clean 👍🤩😁. The staff were friendly, all the shops are close by, and it's about a 10-minute walk to the center of Velden. Great hotel, 10/10 praise. We'll be back 👍
