ibis Styles Klagenfurt am Woerthersee

The location worked perfectly for my plans, right by a farmers market and not too far from bike rentals or the lake. Breakfast ran all morning and had a whole range of food and vegetables, enough for anyone. I was really happy with the place: the rooms were in great shape and very clean. Highly recommend it!

We booked this place in an emergency while visiting Klagenfurt from the US, and it turned out to be a pleasant, affordable surprise. The coffee shop attached to the hotel was wonderful, and getting around the area was easy. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom and shower were large, and everything was very clean with good amenities. It was quiet and easy to get a good night's rest. We'd stay again.

There are lots of modern features, and the hotel is close to downtown. I only missed having a coffee maker in the room. Parking was pricey, but since it was Saturday afternoon, we could park overnight on the street just outside. Great hotel.

The hotel has a good vibe, and the staff are nice and helpful and speak many languages. I'd return and recommend it when visiting Klagenfurt. The room was big, with comfortable beds and pillows, and that huge shower had great water pressure. The hotel itself is beautiful and feels extra safe because room keys are needed to access every area. Good value for money. A few things were disappointing. In a city where everything shuts on Sunday, I was surprised the bar was closed too, leaving the full buffet breakfast as the option. There might be a quick choice at reception, but the coffee machine was broken the Sunday we left, so you could only take a croissant. Maybe that works when everything is functioning, but I can't say. The fitness room's air conditioning was off for three days. With 28 degrees outside, exercising there wasn't comfortable, and towels weren't provided unless you asked at reception. The room's AC also didn't get very cold even at full power, though I blame the extremely thick winter duvet we were expected to use in May.
