Haus Veronika

The bus stop is right outside the apartment, and the location is great. It takes 5 min to Gaislachkogl Talstation and 10 min to Hochgurglbahn on the ski bus. With the apartment guestcard, the bus is free for skiers and non-skiers alike. We could check the digital ski bus timetable to Sölden or Obergurgl from our room. Entry to the Freitzeid Arena swinningpool in Sölden is free too. The concierge is friendly and responds when we have a question. The apartment was as described on the website, superb and cozy for my family of 4. The couch was comfortable, and we used our own Chromecast for Netflix or national television.

We had a special summer at Haus veronika with Berni and his mother. The apartment was lovely and cozy, with care put into every little detail. Thanks!

The ski bus stops right outside, which is handy since in Sölden you can sometimes have quite a walk to reach a stop. There’s a secure ski room with boot warmers in the basement, and it’s easy to get to both the Sölden and Gurgl ski areas. Berni is always glad to answer questions. Although the apartment is right by the road, we barely heard traffic inside. We did hear the upstairs neighbors’ footsteps, depending on who was moving around. We stayed a week at Berni’s in Haus Veronika, in apartment number 6, and were completely happy there with our small dog. It was a good size and had everything we could need: kitchenette, dishes, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, microwave, TV, and more. We’d also recommend Brückenwirt, just 100 meters away, where you can pick up a pizza if you don’t feel like cooking. We’d love to return!

Restaurants are an easy walk away, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We rented the 2-3 person apartment for a week, and it had plenty of room for our family and was well equipped. It sits between the Sölden and Gurgl ski resorts, with a free bus to the resorts stopping right outside. There’s also a room to store ski equipment and boots.
