The food was a highlight for us, beautifully cooked and presented, with plenty of variety. We were half board, and the daily skiers tea from 3:30-4:3pm was a nice extra. They also catered well for our gluten-free daughter. We had a lovely six-night stay at Skihotel Edelweiss. The staff were warm and welcoming, the rooms comfortable and well equipped, and the pool and sauna area relaxing. The hotel runs a little hot, like many ski hotels. No swimsuits are allowed in the sauna area, as is customary in Austria. You’re right on the slopes, though Hochsölden itself has little beyond hotels and two ski hire shops.

The view is beautiful, and getting straight onto the slopes makes this a true ski-in, ski-out stay. We also appreciated the excellent ski locker rooms. Friendly staff, lovely facilities, and varied, delicious food made it a great hotel.

A peaceful ski holiday in a really picturesque setting, with great service and a very convenient location. For anyone keen to get onto the pistes early, breakfast starting at 7:00 instead of 7:30 would be perfect. Thank you! :)

The food was simply delicious, and we loved the excellent sauna and Amman. My fiancée and I had a wonderful romantic skiing week at this perfect hotel. Our room was beautiful and very clean, and the location was amazing. ❤️

The children's menu could use some thought. It would be better if its number of courses and timing matched the adult menu. The Christmas meal and the cuisine in general were fabulous, though. Hotel Edelweiss is a wonderful place for skiing and a family Christmas, and we'll definitely be back. The ski-in, ski-out location is excellent.
