The hotel is modern, in a great spot, and only 100m from the main lift in Obergurgl. We could walk into the boot room with our skis. I'd happily stay again. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and had comfortable beds. I believe the rooms have been newly renovated. The staff we met were very nice and helpful, and made my family and our friends feel welcome. We loved the evening meals and had a great breakfast each morning. The restaurant food was excellent, and the staff really looked after us. They also went out of their way to help my friend find her wallet and lend me a travel adapter for my laptop.

The ski setup makes the trip easy: take the lift from your room floor to the boot room, use the locker assigned to your room, then cross the road to the main lift. Kit rental is across the road too. The location is excellent, and the price is reasonable. It's a lovely hotel with bright, airy, spacious, clean rooms and great bathrooms. Breakfast is great, dinner is good, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

This was my second ski holiday at the hotel. The location is brilliant, close to ski rentals, the cable car station, and the ski school meeting point, which is especially useful for a beginner. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection and gave me energy for the day. In the evening I enjoyed the five-course dinner, from the salad buffet and appetizers through soup, main dish, and dessert. I also liked the hotel's sauna area, with a spacious place to relax and three different types of sauna. We had a great time and are already figuring out which week to return next year.
