We really enjoyed the restaurant, both the delicious food and the cozy feel. The family running the hotel were so kind and welcoming, which made our stay special. I’d definitely recommend it to families looking for a relaxing vacation.

We didn’t stay at the hotel, just stopped by for an afternoon drink in the glorious sunshine. It looked very sophisticated and was in a great location. My kids were eyeing the outdoor pool, which looked lovely. I got the feeling children should be seen but not heard, which is fine by me. I probably wouldn’t properly relax there with my kids, so next time I’ll leave them behind and enjoy my drink.

After a day on the slopes, the spa was a lovely place to unwind, especially the heated outdoor pool. Hochfirst Hotel in Obergurgl has ski-in, ski-out access, and the staff were friendly and provided outstanding service. The rooms are beautifully designed with breathtaking mountain views, while the restaurant served delicious meals. The alpine charm and modern luxury made the hotel feel inviting and relaxing. Highly recommended for an Alpine getaway.

For €900 a night including meals, I expected a much better experience. The rooms are basic, with uncomfortable pillows and blankets, and housekeeping often forgets towels and other essentials. The food is terrible, and the already small selection gets worse when the salad bar is cleared at 8:45 PM. Getting to the ski lift means carrying your skis about 150 meters. The sauna and pool close at 7:00 PM, which feels early. At 6:55 PM, while I was still in the sauna, a staff member came in to say it was closing, left the door open and switched it off with me still inside. It wasn’t worth the price.
