The sky sauna upstairs was a highlight, with those magnificent views, and the basement spa is worth checking out too. We loved the luxurious feel throughout, especially our room. The heated lockers for ski gear were really handy, and the lifts were within walking distance. Reception and housekeeping were so friendly and professional. We’re definitely coming back. 10/10.

Breakfast could start at 7:00, especially in ski season. I stayed in one of the older rooms and had no complaints: the bath and balcony overlooking the mountains were both lovely. The third-floor Sky Sauna is well equipped and looks out over the valley. Staff and facilities were generally excellent, from the front desk team to Nico, their Croatian waitress. Housekeeping was especially quick and efficient.

Loved the morning yoga and got great hiking tips. The room was cosy, the pool was a good temperature, and the food was special with lots of healthy choices. Everything here felt perfect, and the staff were friendly. There’s still so much to see in the area, so I hope we can come back 😀
10/10
We stayed five nights at Atkiv Alpendorf, about 200m from the main ski gondola. The ski storage and boot warming room were useful, and the pool was wonderful. The sauna areas were spotless, and the new sky sauna has spectacular valley views. Our room had a classic Austrian style and a balcony with a good view. Breakfast and the five-course dinners were included in half board, and all the food was delicious. Evening service could be more efficient, and we had to pay for a bottle of filtered tap water at dinner. There were no free tea or coffee facilities in the room. Those were small things, though, and we had a pleasant stay at this friendly, family-run hotel.
10/10
The family atmosphere was the best part of our stay. The team went out of their way to send us something we’d forgotten in the room, which saved our Christmas this year ;-). The location, facilities, and rooms were all fantastic too.
