Hotel Schöne Aussicht

I wasn’t convinced when a friend invited me to Schöne Aussicht, since it seemed too remote and I thought we’d want to be closer to après ski. I ended up having the best ski holiday of my life. We’d planned to go down to Solden, but never did. The food, wine, rooms, spa, and team were all perfect. What really made it unforgettable was the service and how much it felt like being part of a family. Philipp, Maxi, Matthias, Jan, Michael, Andras, Kevin, Laura, Viktoria, and the whole team were amazing. See you next year.

One thing to think about is the ski-in access. To get in, you have to ski down from the Red slope next to the cliff, or take the Black Slope at high speed. That isn’t friendly for beginner skiers. The food was something I looked forward to every day, including breakfast, dinner, and afternoon snacks. Every dish seemed carefully prepared, with good attention to nutritional balance. The stay itself felt like stepping into a different way of life, and after leaving I already missed the relaxed rhythm of living and skiing in the mountains. At Hotel Schöne Aussicht, the accommodation, ski-in, ski-out access, room view, ski storage, meals, and service were all close to perfect. The scenery outside the window was exceptional. In the morning there was a varied breakfast, then you could gear up and ski straight out. A wide slope is right outside, and the lift station is only minutes away, handy if you want the first run. After a full day, you could return for a hot shower or bath, sit on the balcony watching other skiers, and enjoy a generous dinner. There were plenty of snacks in the afternoon too. Everything was arranged thoughtfully, so you could focus on skiing. Nelson gave us a warm welcome and was always enthusiastic and sincere when helping with taxi information and coordinating meals. Issues during the stay were handled properly, and our expectations were met. Thanks as well to Maxi, Sokratis, Michael, the girl with the elephant tattoo on her right arm, and everyone else we met. The strong staff member who carried our luggage made a huge difference, like a superhero. Together, you made the place feel like home. I’d love to see you again. After long days on the slopes, our clean, comfortable room was a welcome place to relax, and it had a charming alpine look alongside modern amenities. We also loved the private balcony, where we drank mulled wine and watched the stars. Breakfast was a feast, with local pastries and plenty of hearty choices for the mountain. The outdoor hot tub was a highlight. Soaking while snowflakes fell felt like a dream. Staff were warm and welcoming, professional without losing their genuine hospitality. Little details were taken care of, from easy check-in to helpful tips on local activities. The hotel sits high above the village, and the name Hotel Schöne Aussicht fits the breathtaking views of nearby peaks from sunrise to sunset. A luxurious, welcoming retreat in the Alps that we won’t forget. We can’t wait to return.
