The food was excellent and the prices felt right. This is a clean place that keeps its rustic feel, with friendly owners who are great with kids. Children and dogs are welcome. There’s full satellite TV with hundreds of channels and very fast internet. You’re tucked into the woods with lovely forest hiking trails around, but only a short drive from the main beach in Klagenfurt. A great escape for couples or families.
Cozy and inexpensive, with a great atmosphere. Really good for kids.
Great!
Dear Santner Family, thank you so much for making my daughter's 4th birthday such a wonderful celebration. She got to enjoy it with her friends, and all of us, including the invited guests, had a fantastic time. Everything was just right: the food, service, timing, and location. You were attentive, spontaneous, warm, child-friendly, uncomplicated, and accommodating. Many thanks and best regards, The S. Family
We had a relaxed meal while the kids made the most of the large playground. We came with four children and couldn’t have asked for a better stopover. Waldwirt is beautifully set on the Kreuzbergl, peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet easy to reach. The staff were warm, attentive, and good with children. The homemade regional food was delicious, and there was a special menu for kids.
