We keep returning every winter, and after 13 years it's clear how much we love this place. The apartment is always spotless and has everything you need, though it isn't luxurious. There are four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Three very large rooms are on the first floor; upstairs are the fourth bedroom, kitchen and dining area, plus a lovely roof terrace overlooking the mountains and the beginners' meadow for skiers and snowboarders. There are private parking spaces beside the apartment, and the ski lift is a 10-minute walk away. From there you can ski to Flachau, Wagrain, Flauchauwinkel, and Zauchensee, a truly enormous area. Two winter tips: the suspension bridge at the Dachstein is beautiful and easy to visit as long as the roads are clear. Radstad also has a 6 km toboggan run that starts and ends at the lift. You can rent a sled there for a small fee, still 5 euros in 2025, and combine it with skiing there.
