Conni and Rupert were wonderful hosts, so friendly and gracious. We booked at the last minute and arrived late, probably well past their bedtime since they’re up at five each morning, but they still helped us get dinner and supplies with a smile. Connie made us a lovely breakfast the next morning. We had a great time at the farm and out in the surrounding countryside. Our chalet was beautiful, spacious, and well equipped. We wandered around the farm, collected eggs, met the cows, played with the adorable kids, and spent time with Oma Barbara. Rupert also took the children for a little pony ride on "LaDonna," a gentle horse they absolutely loved. It was a much-needed break for us. We didn’t get to use the private sauna, which was a shame, but perhaps next time. I highly recommend this lovely place if you’re staying in the area.

This is one of my favourite places to relax in Salzburg land. It’s peaceful, with a magical view, a comfortable house, and very friendly people. The summer never gets too hot here. June is especially nice while children in Austria are still at school, and it’s completely quiet. You can see cows, goats, and a horse, and buy cheese and eggs. Enjoy!

We’ve stayed here three times already, and our fourth visit in January 2026 is something we’re looking forward to. The bus stop is right outside, and the view is beautiful. The apartment is tastefully furnished to a high standard, with a shower room in every room. You can buy cheese, sausage, and eggs at the farm, and the delicious milk is there to help yourself to for free.
