Appartement Tauernhof

The hotel is fairly nice and in a pleasant location. But I saw an employee whisking yogurt with his wiener, which was not a pleasant experience.

We'd happily return to this cozy family hotel. It was clean and well looked after, with very friendly service and excellent value for money. The pool and sauna were great for relaxing, and we had a very pleasant stay.

We felt right at home and could properly relax, both at the hotel and in the mountains. We’d love to come back next year. When our first stay ended, we left for a few more days in Bavaria, then realized how much we missed the Tauernhof. We called Elke to ask about a room, and drove back to Austria when she had one available. Those extra days were wonderful, and we really appreciated how easy she made it for us to return. Thanks again for everything. It had been a long seven-hour drive, and we were excited but nervous when Elke gave us such a warm welcome. She manages the Hotel Tauernhof and is super friendly and lovely. The hotel is in a very quiet spot, right by the mountains, with lots of hiking trails for a stroll. The food was excellent and incredibly tasty. My warmest regards to the kitchen and the whole Hotel Tauernhof team. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and good with children. We had nothing to complain about. It had been a long time since we felt this comfortable and relaxed on vacation.
