I tried twice to get in touch with the owners about booking, but neither time did they reply.

My grandmother has stayed at the Kreuthof several times. The prices keep going up, and in my experience they don't stick to what was agreed. I came away with a very negative impression and feel there was no integrity in their word. Make sure you get the price confirmed in writing first, since verbal agreements have worked against us. Their friendly manner struck me as insincere and dishonest. Be very careful to clarify what the prices mean, too. A rate starting at €42 can keep increasing, with no explanation that makes sense.

We stayed four nights in a nice apartment, and the place was quiet. Having our bicycles with us made it ideal for visiting Vienna.

The owners were friendly and helpful, and I'd gladly come back. It's a really quiet, idyllic spot at the edge of the forest.
