Gästehaus Rottenspacher

Breakfast was generous, varied, and really tasty. Our spacious apartment had a balcony, plenty of equipment, and was spotless. The guesthouse is modern and very well kept, in a peaceful spot that's still central. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and we felt completely at home. We definitely recommend Hotel Rottenspacher, and we're already looking forward to coming back.

We were happy with the price for what we got, and there was plenty of parking. The breakfast had everything we wanted, and the staff were easy to reach and very friendly. Our room was clean and roomy enough, with a great bathroom. We first booked an apartment, then switched to a double room after arriving, and the change was no trouble at all. The hotel is right in central Kössen and met our expectations for a week of golf. The weather wasn't quite as cooperative as we'd hoped, but we'd happily recommend the place.

We went hiking in the mountains, rode our bikes a lot, and took a trip to Salzburg during our five nights there in August 2025. Kössen is exceptionally beautiful, and it made for a lovely, relaxing week. We had a larger side-facing double room with a lovely view and afternoon sun 🌞. Everything was beautifully clean, and the bathroom was perfect. Breakfast was delicious, with all we could ask for, and the ladies and gentleman were very friendly. During the day you could take drinks yourself and write them down. The Wi-Fi was good, though it was a pity it wasn't secure; a code would have been better. There are several inns and restaurants in Kössen. We tried them all, and they were all excellent and reasonably priced, but reservations are needed. Only at Sonnenhof could we just sit down without one. A great week 👍🏽

We came back for a second stay and had a wonderful holiday. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly. We had half-board: breakfast was excellent, with lots of variety and a delicious health food corner. Dinner at the Landgasthof Dorfstadl was tasty too. We'd gladly recommend it.
