The waitress is the only reason I’m giving one star. She was a middle-aged woman with short hair who seemed to hate her job, the people, and everything she was doing. I honestly can’t understand why someone would work in a profession they dislike so much.

The locals come here often, and I can see why. There’s a nice salad buffet, plenty of dishes to choose from, and the food is prepared well. The owner works there too, waiting tables. A good place to stop for lunch by the river, with rooms upstairs and bathrooms that are always clean.

I only came in for lunch, and it was really good. They had gluten-free choices, and both the meal and the service were good too.

The service was just average, and the food seemed industrial rather than “hausgemacht.” Update: the owner’s reply to my opinion had exactly the same “style” as the service.

The breakfast was fantastic and fresh, and the staff were really pleasant. My room was clean, the facilities were great, and it was good value for money. I’ll definitely stay here again.
