A charming village and a lovely, cosy apartment.

We spent a week at Pension Leyrer while visiting the region for hiking and climbing. The hosts were welcoming and always around to answer questions. Our room was clean, well looked after, and comfortable, and the mountain view from the balcony was lovely in both rain and sunshine.

The house was cozy, the location very quiet, and everything was great. The host was lovely and gave us cake twice during our stay. Ski bus stops are nearby, with free rides to Nassfeld and other destinations.

The location is great, but the landlord was unfriendly when we arrived. They suddenly insisted that we park a large car in the town hall/city center parking lot, and trailers with motorcycles weren’t welcome either. We weren’t allowed to leave our bicycles in front of the house. Also, the advertised vacation apartment turned out to be a one-room apartment with no kitchen. Never again!

The Leyrer family are very friendly and share tips about upcoming events. It’s peaceful and relaxing here, and the restaurants are within walking distance. Everything you need is available, and even the supermarkets open on Sundays. This is our second stay, and we’d love to come back again.
