Alpenblick Ferienhaus

We stayed for four days for the Austrian Formula 1 GP, with our family of five and two friends. The house was peaceful, with plenty of room, and everything was clean and in good order. We rented two rooms, one for five people and another for two. Harald, the owner, was easy to communicate with and very clear. We had a fantastic time. It works well for an overnight stay and would also suit a longer visit.

We came as a group of men, and beer lovers might enjoy the brewery just around the corner in Murau. The countryside nearby is beautiful, whether you want to explore or simply relax somewhere quiet. On sunny days, the rooftop terrace is a lovely spot for breakfast with a great view, or to spend the evening together. The accommodation was comfortable, well maintained, and fully equipped, in a peaceful location.

Hiking in the Krakau region gives you plenty of ways to take in the unspoiled scenery, from flatter trails by lakes and waterfalls to more challenging mountain routes. On Preber mountain, we stopped for delicious Kaiserschmarrn about halfway up, which gave us some energy for the climb to the summit cross. The rooftop terrace was lovely under the stars, though it can get quite cold later, so bring warm clothes. Alpenblick holiday home is a great base for nature lovers and anyone looking for adventure. Schattensee lake, Markushöhe mountain, Preber mountain, and other sights are within a 15-minute drive. Lake Wörthersee is about an hour and a half away and worth visiting if you can. There are countless scenic spots for outdoor photos. The apartments were beautifully furnished and spotless, with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. They made a comfortable place to unwind after a long day. There were also helpful activity suggestions on little slips of paper, which added ideas for our stay in Krakow. The host was keen to make sure guests were happy and answered questions or concerns quickly. We had a great experience and highly recommend the apartments.
