Twin Apartment

Kati was lovely and available if we needed help. The apartment is comfortable, tastefully decorated, and warm in winter, with everything we needed. Top marks!

It’s spotless and welcoming, with everything you need. The center is a bit of a way off, but that also means you avoid the tourist noise and bustle. I’d recommend it.

There’s nothing to complain about with the kitchen, and the heating works. But I can’t see how Booking.com can call this place “excellent” with a 9.2 rating. I’m more upset with Booking.com than the apartment manager. The building feels isolated, with no amenities, and the only supermarket is out of use. Inside, the front door is badly worn. The apartment might have enough space if the bathroom and double bed weren’t both such tight fits. The bed linen was crumpled and stuffed in a closet, and looked as if it hadn’t been washed. One sheet had a stain, and sheets should be white so they can be bleached. This apartment just isn’t “excellent.”

We stayed as a family for five nights in Vienna, paying €100 per night including tax. It’s a small 1+1 apartment, and we mostly just went there to sleep, but it was quiet and we liked the location. The landlady, Kati, is very sweet. There’s a washing machine, dishwasher, hairdryer, pots and pans, towels, and everything else you need, so there’s no need to fill your suitcase with household items. It’s in the 19th arrondissement on the U6 line, close to Nurssdoffer Strase station. The transport might seem confusing at first, but it makes sense once you arrive. Trains, metros, and trams are available. I recommend it.
