The lady of the house really tried to make our stay as good as possible, but the farm stay description promised a much nicer experience than we actually had. I'd call it a hotel and restaurant beside a cow stable, rather than a holiday on a farm. The pony stayed tied beside the cows all day, and I never saw it taken out. The chickens and two rabbits were kept in small hutches. Guests weren't encouraged to interact with the animals. When we asked about feeding the chickens, we were told we'd need to bring our own food. We never saw the pony, either. After we asked, another guest brought it over from the stable because the farmer said he was too busy. Our room was a small, basic hotel room, not an apartment, though it was clean. I wouldn't recommend that size for a family with a small child staying longer than about two days. There's little to do nearby unless you're willing to drive or hike for around an hour. I can't recommend this hotel to families hoping to experience farm life with their child. For a couple who enjoys good food and doesn't mind how the animals are housed, it could work.

The kids loved the hearty traditional food, and everyone was friendly. Our room was big and clean, and we had a wonderful stay. There's plenty to do within a 30-minute drive, and the Kärnten card gets you great discounts. We'll definitely visit again.

Our family room had bunk beds, a table, a sofa, and a TV, and it was clean, spacious, and well equipped. The owners were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was a typical Austrian spread. If you want that traditional Austrian feel, this place has it. The internet could be better, though, but it’s a nice chance to unplug a little.

Our granddaughters loved having their own playroom and checking the hens for eggs each day. They also petted the rabbits and spent afternoons with the cows in the barn. We went sledding in the next valley, and the ski bus stopped right outside morning and evening. Dinner was delicious and generous, and the afternoon cakes, donuts, and brownies were divine. Thanks for such a lovely stay.

Our son, who was nearly three, had such a good time he didn’t want to leave, and there were lots of activities for children. The meals were fantastic, including the kids’ food, and the service was excellent. The whole family welcomed us warmly, and we felt at home right away. Brigitte, Sepp, and Andreas are incredibly kind and go out of their way every day to make guests happy. We highly recommend a holiday here.
