The NÖ Card is 83 Euros, and from this little cottage we managed to visit all nine places for that price. We had some beautiful days here, with a barbecue every evening and lovely sunsets and sunrises. Even on a chilly summer evening, the fireplace kept us warm. The cottage is lovely in the rain too, so summer here is well worth it. Thanks for having us! The world is still lovely without TV and wifi. Be present and enjoy the peaceful moments in nature. This little alpine jewel box gave us a sense of magic, with its fresh air, green surroundings, and warm, loving hospitality. I’d recommend it to anyone. With the NÖ Card, all of these places are about an hour’s drive away: Rax by cable car, Semmering Hirschenkogel by cable car, Schneebergbahn by Salamandra cogwheel, Mariazell Bürgalpe by cable car, Gemeindealpe by Mitterbach cable car, Krumbach open-air museum, Aspang Markt Car Museum, Mönichkrichen by cable car, and Léka Castle on the way home. The waterfall was divine. There are Hungarians there, so ask for plum and peach in Hungarian.

Away from the everyday rush, this little jewel in the Austrian mountains is a lovely place to hike, breathe fresh air, or just sit and listen to the stream in front of the house. The house's website has ideas for all kinds of activities nearby, and the host was flexible, kind, and helpful. I’d gladly recommend it to others!

There’s plenty to do nearby in both winter and summer, and the owner gave us detailed descriptions of the options. The cottage itself has a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, a cozy fireplace, and everything else we needed. It’s in a fantastic spot, surrounded by forest with a stream right beside the house, and the owner was very kind and helpful. Thanks so much, and we’ll definitely come back. We’ve stayed in the house three times now, each in a different season, and it felt different on every visit. This time we tried a couple of the activities the host suggested, and they didn’t disappoint. The cottage is cozy, clean, tidy, and equipped with everything, and it was fascinating to learn about its history. The owner is kind and helpful. We can’t wait to return.
