We felt very much at home in this beautiful, completely renovated apartment. It has three bedrooms and a sofa bed, making it ideal for six people, whether a family with kids or a group. Everything you need for a comfortable holiday is provided. The big, cosy dining area beside the modern kitchenette was especially nice for breakfast and dinner. Ski lifts and restaurants are walkable, too. We’ll be back!

The location made for a superb ski holiday, and the apartment was well equipped. There were some letdowns: dirty windows, and lint and hair left in the bathroom by the previous occupant. Grit in the parking lot would help, since the entrance door and the way to the sauna and ski storage room are dangerously slippery. I also wish the description had said the sauna costs extra. That was very disappointing. It’s worth using the ski storage room, since there’s nowhere to sit while getting dressed. Still, it’s good value for money.

Getting to the basement where we stayed was a bit tricky, but the bedrooms were fine and the lift was an easy walk away. Krimml itself is quite dull, with no supermarket for après-ski. For another trip, I’d choose a village with more amenities.

We were very satisfied and felt comfortable. The place was clean, freshly renovated, and had everything provided. Mold was starting to appear on two windows after an energy-efficiency renovation, though, and the mattresses were much too soft for me.
