Jugendgästehaus Gerlosplatte

The staff were super friendly, and the food was nice, with a good range that included vegetarian and vegan options. Breakfast had a selection too, and there was coffee, tea, juice, and water available throughout the day. The rooms are basic, but they have what you need, plus AMAZING views and warm showers. I've read lots of negative reviews, but that's my honest take.

Families should feel right at home here. There's a friendly, pleasant atmosphere, a sauna with mountain views for adults, and a whole floor of trampolines, football, and other things for kids. The location is amazing, and the view through the room windows is mesmerising.

We visited at the beginning of September, when couples and families could book, even though the guesthouse usually hosts school groups. The building and rooms were new, nice, and clean, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were great too, and the views and location were amazing.

We found it really convenient to stay here with children, since they can just go off and enjoy themselves. There are plenty of ways for them to play, including a pool, kicker, a room with game consoles and games, and other sports activities. It's not a high-comfort kind of place, but it works very well for families.
