Lachtalhaus

Dinner comes with an odd table booking system: many tables were reserved but left empty, and nobody explained the setup at check-in. Most of the staff are Hungarian, and some speak neither German nor English. Still, the food was tasty, the room was tidy and big enough with plenty of space for clothes, and the location is within walking distance of the slope. The TV was a bit small.

The room was awful and smelled bad. There was mold all over room 302, and the WC smelled horrible, with doors soaked in urine. The bathroom barely fits one person, even with a struggle. For €240 a night, this is nowhere near good value. It's a very old, outdated hotel. The location is good, the sauna was nice, and the food was neither great nor terrible.

We've been coming here for years, but this visit included a horrible encounter with waiter Gabori. He acted aggressively toward us. Other staff came to apologize and said he behaves aggressively with everyone, including colleagues. We can't understand why someone who can't speak respectfully to customers or teammates is still employed. We hope hotel management acts quickly to address this toxic behavior.

I stayed with my daughter and we both enjoyed the wide range of food at breakfast and dinner. The rooms were clean, and the service always came with a smile. It was a calm, beautiful spot right by the ski lifts and rental place. We were really happy with our choice, and I hope other guests feel just as satisfied.
