Apart Alpinlive

We booked the studio for seven people and were given apartment 1. On arrival it was clean and pleasant, with three toilets and bathrooms, very nice showers, comfortable beds and a small terrace. The apartment was comfortable, but the kitchen was much too small for seven. There was nowhere to store groceries, and the fridge was tiny. The main issue for us was the host's communication, which felt unprofessional. In our opinion, she was rude and didn't seem keen to welcome us. Two days before our departure, she went into the apartment while we were out. I think she wasn't legally allowed to do that. She later emailed us in all caps with lots of exclamation marks, saying she expected extra payment for cleaning after our stay. I didn't think the apartment was especially dirty, and since she had entered without telling us while we were away, we hadn't had a chance to prepare. It felt a bit like a scam, as if she were trying to set us up to pay more. Yet when we paid at the end of the week, she didn't bring it up and behaved as though everything was fine. That made the situation even stranger. If our stay had bothered her that much, we would have been willing to discuss it. I wouldn't recommend this place for a larger group, and I personally wouldn't return because of the poor communication, even though the apartment itself was nice and comfortable.
