The roominess and the property itself were good, but the internet didn’t work, and there was no warning, apology, or credit. I also had to pay an extra €5 per person per night for booking through booking.com or another reservation site. booking.com prohibits this, yet the charge was still made. I didn’t like how it was handled. If you’re fine with that, it’s a decent hotel, but the booking price won’t be the full amount you pay. booking.com also shares some blame for not making this clearer or enforcing its policy.

I’d happily stay here again. The food was outstanding, and the staff were lovely. During a solo bicycle tour from Lermoos, Austria to Pisa, Italy, I stopped here in summer, and the location suited my needs perfectly. I rated the room comfort, bathroom, breakfast, restaurant, WiFi, security, staff, cleanliness, amenities, accessibility, and value for money all 5/5. Everything was perfect. Amazing hotel and great food.

The staff were very kind and helpful, and both breakfast and dinner were pretty good. The room itself was modern and more than decent, but the bathroom door was a transparent glass one, with the toilet inside. “The mad architect” must have had a hand in that design. It’s especially awkward in a family room, and that drawback cost the hotel two stars from me.

We found a room as walk-ins while driving across Austria, which felt lucky. It was spacious and comfortable, and the front desk team were friendly and very helpful. We chose half board and had an amazing dinner. Breakfast the next morning was among the best we had at any hotel on the trip.

We came from Scotland and felt welcome from the start. The staff looked after us so well, and a motorcycle guide was available with route suggestions and advice. The rooms were excellent, and the restaurant served fabulous food at breakfast and in the evening. We had a great stay, would recommend it, and will probably be back next year.
