Hans and his staff were so hospitable and friendly that we ended up eating here every evening during our ski holiday in Lech. We first found the restaurant by chance and loved it. There are lots of choices on the menu, and the food is great. It's tucked away in a quiet, secluded spot at the end of Zug. I plan to come back in summer and stay here.

The place has a one of a kind setting and a charming Prancing Pony Inn feel inside. It's within walking distance of the ski lifts, and the staff are friendly and charming. Owner Hans told great stories about being at Woodstock, which made the visit feel like an episode of No Reservations. I had a great time and will stay here again whenever I'm snowboarding in Lech.

A favorite around here, and we try to come every year. The food is amazing, especially the delicious desserts, and the owner is so warm and welcoming.

The atmosphere was especially lovely, and the food was excellent. The menu has all the Austrian classics, with attentive, warm service that made us feel at home straight away. It's well worth the short free bus ride to Zug. We'll come again!

We had a rich, tasty dinner with great dessert, wine, and friendly service. There was live piano music, and the owner and his team were super friendly, making it a high-class Austrian hospitality experience. It ended up being our best dinner of the holiday, and we'll be back. We were staying in Oberlech and couldn't find anywhere offering Raclette on January 2nd until I came across the Auerhahn in an online listing. When I called, they quoted a high price for two adults, but I was surprised and happy to hear the two kids could eat for free. We booked after that.
