The room was spacious, and the location is excellent for cross country skiing, with a great rental shop around the corner and the ski track just a two minute walk away. Still, I’d only stay here if other options weren’t available, which might happen without an early booking. The value for money felt very poor. The room was old and worn, extremely hot, and the heating couldn’t be adjusted. I kept the window open because the heat dried out my skin, but the noise outside then disrupted my sleep. There was no minibar, and the tiny bathroom drained very slowly. The only soap was a little hand soap, with no shower soap or shampoo, let alone conditioner or body lotion. It’s been years since I’ve seen so little provided in a hotel.

The atmosphere was nice and the service friendly. I enjoyed the soups, but the Schlutzkrapfen were a bit bland. The bread we asked for seemed somewhat old, and there was supermarket bread as well. It’s not the best restaurant I’ve eaten at, though it can be a pleasant choice for a simple meal. 🙃

We came for lunch on our first day and liked the food so much that we returned every day. The waitresses were fantastic, and I had the blueberry and cheese strudel daily because it was just perfect. 🎂

A lovely spot for afternoon sunshine, and the food was okay. But the man serving us was miserable, and it took ages to get his attention, even when we wanted to pay after asking for the bill. We won’t be back.

Breakfast was okay, but the room was small, stuffy and very dated. The bathroom was tiny, the ventilation noisy, and there was no shower gel or soap, just hand soap. The bed wasn’t clean, and there were no spare towels or blankets in the room.
