The weather was really poor for skiing when we visited in February, but we still enjoyed our seven nights at this great hotel in the am Alberg region. For skiing, the location is ideal, with four different lifts within 250m. The staff were the best, kind, attentive, and helpful in suggesting things to do outside Zurs. Our clean room had all the essential toiletries. Breakfast offered plenty of choice, and we could even make our own juice from the vegetables provided.

The textile-free spa and sauna are lovely, though the setup did lead to some conflict between guests, so it's useful for foreign visitors to know about. Internet was the one small snag: it was intermittent and unreliable, though great when it did work. Hotel Edelweiss feels worthy of five stars. The atmosphere, quality, and service are all top-notch. Breakfast was amazing, as was dinner, with a different menu every night. The rooms and room service were fantastic, though the walls are a little thin and sound carries.

The suites are generous, meticulously clean, and beautifully maintained, though a little dated. The staff were all helpful and warm, with the best of Austrian hospitality. Breakfast offers lots of healthy choices made with quality products, and the dining is fabulous, from hearty Austrian dishes to elegant fine dining with a twist.

I loved staying in the heart of zurs. This cozy, well-run hotel has charming interiors and an amazing staff. The food, spa, bar, and ski shop were all great, and made everything easy and comfortable. Can't wait to come back!
