Dinner at Walkerbach was delicious, served in a warm, intimate setting, and breakfast was just as lovely, with high-quality ingredients and a fabulous start to the day. The rooms are cosy, spotless and full of mountain charm, in a beautiful, peaceful location where every detail feels thoughtfully cared for. Barbara is such a kind and attentive host. She makes sure guests feel comfortable and looked after, and that personal care makes a difference. From the moment you arrive, the welcome feels genuine. Walkerbach feels more like home than a hotel, and staying there was relaxing and unforgettable. Leaving is hard when you already know you'll come back. Thank you, Barbara, for the wonderful hospitality.

The menu blends regional food with a modern touch, and the wines are excellent value and served well. Staff are very attentive and bring real flair to the service. It's an impressive restaurant on the edge of Lech. Getting there can be a bit of an issue. It's down in a deep valley in a residential area, and driving in snow could be risky. The walk uphill in the dark isn't much fun, though it's no problem if you're fit.

I love this restaurant so much, I'd give my life for it! The salad is lit, and the biscuits are too. I'd recommend it.
