Ferienhaus Sommerbichl

The kids had plenty to play with, and we made good use of the barbecue. We sat outside every day after getting back, with lovely weather around 27°C and some evening thunderstorms. Everything was exceptionally clean, and all the bedrooms had enough closet and storage space for our things. We loved our stay and have already booked again for next year. There were eight of us, two families with four adults and four children aged 13, 11, 10, and 5. We each had our own bathrooms and toilets. The house felt huge when we arrived. There’s a hallway, living room, kitchen, and seating area at the entrance. Downstairs are a bathroom with washing machine, a kids’ room with bunk beds, a toilet, and the master bedroom. Outside downstairs are the jacuzzi and sauna. Upstairs there are two separate single beds in a room with a balcony, another master bedroom with a balcony, a bunk bed room with a balcony shared with the master bedroom, a toilet, and a bathroom. The landlord met us, showed us around, and explained how everything worked. He was really helpful. Embach has plenty within walking distance: a restaurant up the hill with a spectacular view, about five minutes away, and another restaurant just a minute away with a very, very good view. There’s a small supermarket two minutes away, and larger supermarkets about a ten-minute drive east, south, or west. The info desk is also a two-minute walk. We bought our salzburger sommercard there after having trouble ordering it online. We had the salzburger sommercard, which is a must. There was plenty to do, and Embach was central to everything. We’re so glad we booked this house. It made our stay and travels through Austria magical.
