LOISIUM Wine & Spa Hotel Langenlois

The staff were friendly and clearly doing their best, but the hotel needs more people and better in-room equipment. Our room was spacious, though it had no desk or coffee machine, and the bathroom was tiny. The cleaner had left the door open, and since it was the weekend, every sunbed was taken. We went elsewhere for dinner because everything felt so overcrowded. Breakfast itself was really good, but the room was packed. Tables weren’t cleared fast enough, there was a queue for the coffee machine, and two waiters were trying to keep up with the huge buffet crowd. The reception also had a queue. Booking online for a group wasn’t possible, and when we called, they got back to us three days later.

The restaurant served delicious regional food, and the local wines paired with it were outstanding. We also really enjoyed our two nights at this beautiful hotel, where modern architecture sits comfortably alongside wine culture. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable, and the staff were kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Thanks to the LOISIUM team for making us feel so welcome.

Julia at the front desk always greeted me with a warm smile and made sure I had what I needed. Mike in the bike shop gave me great trail suggestions and helped make my rides go smoothly. The staff really made the stay memorable. The hotel itself was elegant, beautiful, and luxurious without feeling stuffy, so I could properly unwind. The food was fantastic, every meal better than I expected. This was one of my most memorable hotel stays, and I can’t wait to return. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, luxurious break and great service.

The breakfast and views were nice, and the service was alright. But the room was tiny, with only one chair, and there were just two coffee capsules. Parking cost extra, which felt like a rip-off, and the food and wine were very pricey for this part of the world. The spa didn’t really live up to the name: just a small outdoor pool that was on the cool side and a very small sauna. For the money, the whole thing was a total catastrophe. I’ve never felt as legally robbed. It had the charm of a budget hotel at luxury hotel prices.
