There are lots of children around, which makes sense since Leogang is such a paradise for kids and young skiers. The rooms are clean, functional, warm and well ventilated, with a sort of Scandinavian style. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The location is ideal for skiing: ski-in access, then just a two-minute walk to warm up before the gondola in the morning. Dining choices in Leogang are limited, so half board is probably the best option, with the usual pros and cons.

Bacher was exactly what we wanted for a holiday stay with our two young boys. Everyone working there was friendly and hard working, and you're right by the main gondola with ski-in, ski-out access. We'd happily recommend it and plan to return in 2025.

For the kids' race program, we tried Hotel Bacher for the first time and had a fantastic stay. It's one minute from the gondola, and ski school drop-off is right outside. The hotel is very family friendly, with great facilities, breakfast and dinner, and we'd come back. Communication was easy even from Australia, thanks to all the emails with Achraf. It was also lovely to learn some German from Mrs Bacher at breakfast.

We loved our week here in March. With small kids, the spot is hard to beat: right by the gondola and opposite the kids' Park. The rooms were clean, comfortable and roomy enough, and service was very good. Half board worked really well for us. The breakfast buffet had loads of choice, from sweet and continental items to cereals, and an impressive range of teas. At dinner we could pick from three meals, and there was a kids' menu too. Bacher Hotel can arrange ski school and equipment rental, and you can buy ski passes there without queuing. You can leave your ski boots at the hotel in the morning and come straight back from the slopes to the hotel. The rooftop pool was the icing on the cake. We'd love to return next year.

We didn't stay overnight at Hotel Bacher, but rented Rocky Mountain Slayer mountain bikes from the staff for the Leogang Bike Park. They were fabulous. A great place to rent a bike. Enjoy, and stay safe!
