Steinberghaus Apartments

We had a wonderful girls’ weekend in this fantastic holiday apartment, which had everything we needed. The slopes are a 10 minute walk away, and after skiing you can ski almost all the way back to the doorstep.

The balcony was a lovely spot, and there’s a boot dryer in the ski room. We stayed April 12-19, 2025, just before Easter, and found the apartment clean, with comfortable beds and all the basic amenities. Its location makes it possible to ski almost right to the door. Leogang is such a good ski resort that it makes you want to come back every year.

The location near the Steinbergbahn cable car is a real plus. When there’s enough snow, you can even reach it on skis, though we couldn’t this year. We returned to Steinberghaus in March for a second stay, in a different apartment, and can recommend both. They were very clean and furnished beautifully and comfortably, just right for our long weekend. Booking and communication were easy, friendly, and helpful. We’ll be back in 2026.

My husband and child came for biking, while my grandmother enjoyed the garden and also rode the gondola up the mountain. The apartment is wheelchair accessible, and the large shower especially helped my grandmother feel at ease. The gondola is about a 5-10 minute walk, depending on your pace. It was a lovely weekend for three generations, with something pleasant for everyone.
