We wished we’d booked more than one day. This quiet family-run place stands by itself, away from the road through the villages, and it’s a real chance to take a break, provided the weather cooperates. There’s a lovely garden with benches, the rooms are simple and spacious, and the balconies look over the hills. Ask for one facing the front. Breakfast and dinner feature local dishes and produce, and the stuffed dumplings were a favorite. The owners are lovely too. You can hear the sounds of nature, and there’s no other kitchen nearby, so keep in mind that dinner is served until 20:00. One small suggestion: little bottles of shampoo and body wash in the bathrooms would make a difference.

It’s a great base for hiking and other activities in the area, and the whole guesthouse is exceptionally clean. Claudia and Anton clearly put real care into looking after their guests. The food deserves special mention too, prepared with a lot of attention. Anyone looking for quality, hospitality, and a relaxing stay will feel right at home here.

The buffet breakfast was full of regional and homemade products, with lovely attention to detail, and Toni treated us to at least four courses each evening. You could taste both his skill and how much he cares about the ingredients. Claudia welcomed us with a smile and did everything she could to meet our wishes. We had a spacious, well-equipped room at Claudia and Toni’s, in a beautiful, peaceful setting. From arrival to departure, we felt completely comfortable. Thank you for a relaxing, wonderful vacation. We look forward to coming back! Monika and Ronald
