Once inside the room, the problems became obvious. The walls were scratched and the bed's leather upholstery was worn. The internet kept cutting out or not working at all, so I couldn't even send a Facebook message. I tried to report it, but staff just shrugged and said they couldn't help. There were other basic issues: no toothpaste, separate body wash, or shampoo, and my towel had a hole about the size of a hand. The room also wasn't soundproofed. From the hallway I could hear every conversation, footstep, and door closing. I don't understand all the positive reviews. At first glance the place seems fine, but the rooms have clearly seen better days.

Service was very nice, but the room was a lot less impressive. This feels like a dated hotel. The room was noisy and the door didn't close properly. It might have been okay otherwise, but the toilet was a little dirty and the headboard was very worn, as in the picture. The AC wasn't great, and my windows looked straight into an office. Breakfast was okay.

The AC barely works and just makes noise. With the window open, I could hear traffic, and I could also hear guests shutting doors. One of our room doors wouldn't lock properly either. I don't recommend this hotel.

Getting around is easy, with public transport options close by, and the cleaning service was good. But room service could be better, and basic items like dental kits and shampoo weren't provided unless requested. The staff could be more welcoming and proactive as well. Breakfast was the biggest letdown: the menu was unchanged every day and could use more variety and fresher choices.

There was a huge bug in the room. At first, reception only said housekeeping would deal with it and seemed unwilling to find an actual solution. I absolutely can't recommend this place.
