My kids were convinced this place deserves 100,000 stars, not zero. We were only there for one night, but it had a really special feel. The owner and the other people working there were genuine and kind, and breakfast was the best I've had in a long while. If you want lots of luxury and everything perfectly polished, though, this may not be your kind of place.

It’s a friendly, unusual place with a rustic, homely feel. The rooms are quirky, and it isn’t especially modern, so you have to take it as it is. I enjoyed my stay, and the fresh breakfast was lovely, with plenty to choose from. Thank you.

If you’re after a low-cost youth hostel for a short stay and don’t need luxury or a private room, this works well. Guests share responsibility for keeping the place tidy, and there aren’t many rules. Keep things clean and quiet at night and it starts to feel like home.

Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of vegetarian choices, and there was ample free parking. The cabin had an artistic style and an authentic Austrian feel, with a lovely view of the Alps straight from the balcony. A couple of shower nozzles didn’t work, and the toilet was awkwardly close to the washbasin, making it uncomfortable to sit there. Everything else was perfect.

Roberto made me feel so welcome and comfortable that I wished I could have stayed longer. I was lucky to find this place, since it was the only hostel in the Leutasch area I could find. Great value for the price, and I’d happily recommend it.
