Rosumerhof

The mountain views are breathtaking, and Rosumerhof sits right on the road between Mittenwald/Geisterklamm and Leutasch/Seefeld. Hiking and skiing areas are easy to reach, and you can set off on a hike right from the door. Mrs. Mößmer looks after guests with all her heart and is super friendly and helpful. We felt welcome and at home immediately, and are already looking forward to coming back.

We stayed with our small family in the beautiful Leutasch Valley until January 11, 2019. The farmhouse is in an idyllic spot, and our cozy, quiet apartment was a lovely place to relax even with all the snow. Fresh bread rolls were delivered every day. The family was friendly, and the hostess was very helpful and always had great tips. The roads were cleared really well, and we could get everywhere without a car using the Leutasch village bus. Thanks again for everything, we'd love to come back :-)

Traveling as a family of four, we rented the two-bedroom apartment for seven nights. The stay was wonderful, and Mrs. Mößmer made it especially pleasant. Even though we were there in the off-season, when many places were still closed before the season officially started in early May, she happily handled our requests and went out of her way with excursion tips. The farm has a warm, lived-in feel, with the main house, other homes, farm buildings and small stables kept in good order. Inside and out, the main house has lots of charming details and reminders of its history. Our son loved the sheep, horses, cows, cats and the Mößmer family's dog, and was fascinated by the tractors and trucks. They didn't disturb the peace and quiet. Our apartment was simply furnished but comfortable, and that's all we needed since we weren't spending much time indoors. The landlady provided a travel cot and highchair without us having to ask. There was a kettle, filter coffee machine, blender, toaster, small flat-screen TV with USB connection, bed linen and fresh towels. Just bring or buy soap ;-) That suited me, since I like bringing local soap home from trips anyway. :-D Tip: drive to the next town on the Austrian side and shop at the MP-Preis supermarket. They have great mare's milk soap bars. :-P We also used the bread roll delivery service. We could choose fresh or pre-baked rolls, and they took our requests into account.
