The breakfast had loads of tasty, nutritious options, easily the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. The hotel is beautiful, and the saunas and natural pool were awesome. Great value, and I’d happily stay again anytime.

The place itself is nice, with very good breakfast, and the rooms are as described. The natural pool is large enough for a few laps. The staff were all friendly, which made the owner's manner such a shame. We rarely experience an owner this unfriendly, with no sense of hospitality. He first greeted us by saying, "Actually, I'm not even here." He paid no attention to guests or greeted them, and sat smoking on the terrace every evening. It felt like we were bothering him rather than being welcome, and his permanently annoyed expression said it all. We won't visit again. The hotel is nice, but it lacks warmth, so we'd rather stay at another of the lovely hotels in town.

We'd love to come back. Breakfast on the lovely terrace had everything we could want, and dinner was wonderful in a fantastic atmosphere. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. It’s a beautiful place to feel at ease, with stunning views of Lienz and the mountains.
