The family who run the place made us feel very welcome, and everything was clean, with fresh towels and sheets. We loved the walks straight from the door up the mountainside, and the mountain lift is conveniently close. After a long day, the sauna was just what we needed. The valley views over Lienz are lovely too. We’d like to return on a hot summer day and try the pool.

Every apartment has a spacious terrace looking out over Lienz and the surrounding mountains, and the view is stunning. There’s also a coffee machine in the apartment kitchen. The people running the place are amazingly kind.

We’ve been to Lienz three times now, and each visit we’ve stayed with Jon and Linda. They make our family feel welcome every time, and this stay was even more convenient because Jon now has a minibus to take guests to and from the ski lift or supermarket. Everything was just as perfect as usual. Jon and Linda are so good at what they do. Thanks again for a lovely stay. We’d love to come back.

We were too tired to keep driving and needed somewhere to stop, so we turned up without a booking. The British couple who own the place greeted us with a smile, and we’ve found our go-to place for our next time in Austria. The beds were very good, everything was clean, and there’s a nice pool. Best of all, the host was kind and always smiling. We’ll definitely return and recommend it to others.
