Privatzimmer Bundschuh

I really enjoyed the tasty Austrian breakfast and the peace and quiet of the cute village of Amlach. Our host in Bundschuh was kind and welcoming. We stayed one night in a warm, very clean room that was a good size for two, with a terrace. It was rainy outside, and the Lienzer Dolomiten are almost on the doorstep. There’s parking for motorcycles and a small garage that fits two of them. Amlach is a couple of minutes from Lienz and on the route to Grossglockner. The host was friendly, and breakfast was a real refreshment.

The owner really looks after your comfort, and the breakfasts are delicious. This charming place in a beautiful village near Lienz is clean, quiet, and full of atmosphere. It’s a great base for cycling or hiking, with free parking and bike storage. I’d happily return if I come back to Lienz. Highly recommended. 🙂

Amlach is a lovely valley village, good for walking or bike rides away from the city's noise and bustle. The place is affordable and just steps from the center of Lienz. The room is simple and basic, but clean and welcoming. Breakfast is excellent, plentiful, and wholesome, enough to keep you going until evening. The lady is truly delightful, friendly, and kind. It’s a private home with a couple of guest rooms on the first floor, each with a balcony. The setting in nature is peaceful and pleasant, and the hostess is cheerful and welcoming. Rooms are clean, and breakfast is excellent. Just remember to bring cash, as that’s all they accept.
