ibis Styles Linz

The neighbors were noisy, and our child's sofa bed had neither a pillow nor a duvet. We were given just one towel and had to ask for more. I also spotted a few things in the room that needed maintenance. It was okay for a very short visit and one night's sleep, but not worth what we paid.

We stopped here for one night on the way to Italy, and it was a disaster. The room was 17 degrees Celsius, and there was a heater available for guests. The receptionist acted as if the work were a punishment. I can't recommend it.

Maybe we just got unlucky, but the bathroom looked freshly prepared and still smelled of cigarette smoke. The walls also had holes and seemed to be made of papier-mâché. We decided to find a better hotel.

It's a good 3 star hotel, with nice, young people who help make for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was varied and good, with tasty sweets. A special thanks to Hana, the young, smart receptionist, who was very kind and professional. The hotel is close to the motorway and has a quick public transport connection, so you can get to the centre in a few minutes.
