The food was full of flavor, and the Wieninger beer was fantastic. With a setting and atmosphere this lovely, it's easy to linger, whether you're sitting down for a relaxed meal or simply taking in the view. I'd happily come back.

They gave our party of four just two menus. When we tried to pick one up from another table, we were immediately told off, which seemed like a strange way to treat paying customers. The food was good, the waitress friendly, and the bathroom clean. Outside, the terrace has incredible views, though cigarette smoke was an issue. Inside, it felt cozy, and the place is lovely in such a beautiful setting.

We'd gone up for the cable car and a walk, then stopped for a drink. The views were amazing. Just keep in mind that purchases under €20 are cash only. As Brits travelling around Austria and Germany, we've noticed cash-only payments are much more common here than back home, where places seem to take cards only.
