Amedia Hotel Lustenau a Trademark by Wyndham

The location is convenient, but I wouldn't recommend staying here. We were the only guests at a table and waited a while, while the waiter seemed more interested in flirting with the receptionist than serving us. Breakfast was sparse and dull. At night, motion-sensor lights in our room kept switching on and off, along with the phone screen and the room tablet. With light coming from all directions, getting a good night's sleep was out of the question. We enjoyed the other hotels nearby much more, and I'd suggest booking one of those.

The place is peaceful, well away from tourist crowds, so it worked well for unwinding. My room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom spotless and nicely equipped. The Amedia Lustenau is modern and clean. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise: not a huge selection, but what they had was fresh and tasty, especially the scrambled eggs and freshly baked pastries. The staff were friendly, though check-in took quite a while and could be more efficient with some extra training. I'd recommend it for a one-night stay, as long as you allow for a slower check-in.

Lustenau is a small town without much to do, but this hotel made a very good short-stay option. It's close to the Swiss border, and the price was fair compared with Swiss prices. The staff were nice, the room was a good size with a pleasant bathroom, and the Alps views were great. The hotel is about five years old and very well looked after.

It's a nice, fairly new hotel, though the pillows were too big for my taste. I was charged for EV charging through a third party, and nobody warned me about the fee. I didn't check it myself, so the bill ended up extremely high, much more than the room cost.
