Ferienhaus Mandl

We had a lovely time in the Alps and will definitely return. The Mandl holiday home apartment is on the ground floor, cozy, and well equipped. Entering through the terrace felt a little unusual, and the owner lights the wood stove in the morning, but we soon got used to both. The owners are very friendly, and arranging to use the sauna was easy. It's a great base for hiking and cycling, and works especially well for families with dogs. Saalbach-Hinterglemm is about 25 minutes away for skiing, though you'll need a car. Lahntal is also great for horse lovers, there are as many horses as inhabitants! The mountains make a wonderful backdrop.

The balcony has a lovely view, and the fireplace is a real highlight. We stayed in the chalet's upstairs apartment, which is modern and has enough space and equipment in the living room and kitchen, both bedrooms, and the bathrooms. It could use a little more personal character. The service was good and the hosts very friendly. Guests can also use a sauna, swimming pond, and hot tub. It's a very nice, modern place, though a little secluded.

Christine and Robert were always available for questions or comments, and the folder of activity ideas in the apartment was helpful. We appreciated their tips. The place was quiet and secluded, just what we wanted, with supermarkets very close by. The kitchen was superbly equipped, and the apartment was clean and comfortable. We could use the sauna and hot tub too. We enjoyed the stay very much and would love to come back.

Our dogs loved it too! 🐕‍🦺👌 There are some really lovely places nearby for day trips, and we felt very comfortable. We often spent the evenings sitting by the fireplace with a glass of wine.
