Pension Forsthof

Petra was very kind and helpful, and the apartment was clean, spacious, and nice. There’s a big collection of board games, a room with ski boot dryers, and a bus stop right outside the house. We had a very nice ski holiday here.

Petra makes delicious jams for breakfast, and Erhard is happy to show guests the farm animals and explain how the farm works. The family, Petra and Erhard, were welcoming and kind, with good suggestions for things to see and do nearby. We had a truly wonderful weekend stay at the farmhouse in June, and definitely plan to come back.

The ski bus stops right outside, and there's a shared kitchen guests can use. We stayed for seven days over New Year 2025. Petra is lovely and gave us helpful information. Breakfast always had something new, including homemade drinks, local cheese, homemade ham, jelly, and desserts. Our room was clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed staying here.

The location is quiet, with a beautiful view, and it's about 10-20 minutes to Saalbach Hinterglemm depending on which parking area you use, or 10 minutes to Zell Am See. We loved staying at Petra and Erhard's place and will definitely return. Petra was an outstanding host, always around, kind, and ready to help. She knows the local ski area well and made amazing breakfasts: local cheeses, fresh vegetables, homemade cakes and desserts, great bread, herbal drinks, and eggs prepared how you like them. The rooms were very clean. There's a spacious ski room for equipment, and guests can use the kitchen to cook dinner.
