Mallnitz is a cozy town with a relaxed atmosphere, and the house is in a lovely, peaceful spot right beside the forest and hiking trails. We spent a lovely week in the spacious apartment, with a kitchen equipped with everything we needed. The gas stove takes a little getting used to, but it's fine after that. Mr. and Mrs. Gruber are very friendly. There are many interesting hikes in different directions, and we did several straight from the house, so there was no need for bus connections or our own car.
