There are restaurants, a grocery store, bakery, and bus stop all nearby, and the hotel has a small bar in the lobby. My room was spacious and clean, with a small kitchenette. The place has the comfortable, lived-in feel of a family home, and the staff were kind, knowledgeable, and flexible. Superb value for the price, highly recommended.

We were given a larger room with a kitchenette at no extra charge. The staff were very friendly, and as hotel guests we also got free tickets for the local buses plus a free shuttle to the train station.

Breakfast was plentiful, and I really liked the sauna and bar. It's a nice, cozy hotel, about 2 km from the ski lifts, but the beds were a little uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend it.

It's a friendly little village with four great ski areas easy to reach, and the hotel has great rooms, a nice view, and welcoming staff. The owner was accommodating, and the hotel can arrange everything you need. For the journey from London, I'd fly to Munich, hire a car, then take the car train from Bad Gaststein through the tunnel. The ride takes 10 minutes and cuts about an hour off the trip.

The helpful staff, stunning view, and location all made this a great stay, with plenty of ways to relax and good service too. It was absolutely worth the money. Give it a try and you'll be convinced as well.
