We’ll be back! We stayed here for a climbing trip, and the location worked really well. It’s only a few minutes from a bakery and a local shop for bread, fruit, vegetables, and other basics. From here, you can get to climbing spots around the valley, or head out hiking, cycling, or to see waterfalls. It sounds good for mountaineers in both summer and winter. The apartments were beautiful and well kept, and the service was great. We needed a climbing guide for Kanzianiberg, and the manager pointed us to where we could find one in Villach.

The Rüscher family made us feel so welcome, they’re incredibly kind and helpful. Breakfast was full of excellent local products, and the homemade things were fantastic. The house itself is lovely, cosy, and clean. 👍☺️
