At TaNte FriDa is about more than a place to stay. It’s a chance for families to make lasting memories together. Highly recommend it if you want to reconnect, recharge and see the world through your child’s eyes. ❤️

We had a brilliant time at this family hotel, surrounded by beautiful Austrian nature. The food and service were good, and the kids’ entertainment and three meals a day are included, along with drinks. Happy hour even means free beer and wine! When you make use of all that’s included, the prices are very reasonable, especially for families with several children. We’ll definitely come back, maybe for a ski holiday. :)

We loved how easy the hotel made things for adults too. You can have a drink and keep an eye on your child playing downstairs, or relax in a cosy spot by the pool while still watching them. Spa treatments and massage are available, though I didn’t try them. There’s also a free shuttle bus about every 15 minutes. Check the schedule at reception and be there 2-3 minutes early. Natrun is only three minutes away, and Aberg is two. There’s so much for children to do: a basketball and football hall, jungle, pool with a great slide, trampolines, games, art studio, cinema, bowling, air hockey, library and probably more. Even the rooms and things like the toilets, cutlery and cups are child-friendly. Everyone liked Iku, the robot that collects empty plates and cups. Playing with its ears makes it smile! Food was good and fun, with plenty of choices. Burgers, pasta and pizza were available every day, alongside a different theme at the marketplace and restaurant each day. Book ahead if you want to eat at the pizzeria. Fresh fruit is out all day, and you can squeeze your own juice for a vitamin boost. The rooms were amazing, the staff were so friendly, and there was a great range of activities. It’s the most child-friendly hotel I’ve ever seen!

The hotel itself gave me nothing to complain about, but the noise was much too high for the kind of Alpine holiday I expected. Kids can be noisy, sure, but not first thing in the morning. I saw a truck delivering food and wondered how other hotels manage that. Maybe they have a hidden service yard with no windows facing it. I’d suggest asking for a room that faces the meadow.
